Same Dress, Different Day

I love how the tabloids point out when Paris, Britney, Lindsey, etc. wear the same dress. It is such a scandal to be seen in the same outfit that another fashionista has worn to yet another social function.

Now we have our own scandal. This dress was originally worn by the Countess duBarry. It should also be mentioned that duBarry designed and sewed this little piece of fluff....actually she ruined three sewing machines making the outfit....or so she said in a hysterical message on my answering machine! Please note the original jewels that she borrowed from the Countess Bedelia.

Now we have "The Mrs. Astor" trying to pass herself off as the Duchess of Alba in a borrowed dress and bragging about the quantity of jewels that she has adorned herself with. A wise man once told a parable about Quantity vs. Quality....enough said.

I love a good scandal....don't you?

No American Idol Fan Here...But there is something more important.

We are at war with Iraq, global warming is threatening our lives, gas prices are over $3 per gallon, and whatever....there has to be something more important than the next American "Idol". Hasn't Britney Spears embarrassed us enough?

I have to admit that I haven't actually watched the show called "American Idol". I can't quite care enough about these people to spend my precious time watching them. Of course I don't watch that Bachelor show or Big Brother or any other so-called reality TV which is so NOT reality.

Now my pal, Mr. Brian is walking in the Boston AIDS walk on June 3rd. That is something to pay attention to, IMO. So if you want to support him and give to a worthy cause, just click on this link and pledge some moolah. Show America who is really an Idol and what is really important.

A FABULOUS DINNER PARTY!

Last weekend I was invited to dinner at Jimmy's home. Mr. Brian, Bennett, the Countess duBarry, and Debra were also included.

Jimmy is a wonderful cook and he treated us to a delicious antipasto and lasagna served with a very good Chianti. But he neglected to tell us about the decadent powers of the cheesecake that he made for dessert. The man is a Master Baker!! This cheesecake will be remembered and all other cheesecakes in the future will be held up to Jimmy's standard. Magnifico!!!

As you can see, Mr. Brian and Bennett are trying to save their cheesecake from Caesar.

We all had a great time and a lot of laughs. Jimmy's dog, Caesar, was glad that Mr. Brian showed up. As he was examining Caesar's penis, he discovered a tic. Thank you, Mr. Brian!!

Today I amused myself by watching the videos I took. There was Bennett shaking his ass!

Boise, Idaho, Closet Ball

I have a great friend, Cheri, who lives in Boise, Idaho. Do you know that Boise has an Imperial Court? Every year they have a Closet Ball which brings the drag queens in from the prairie (or the plains or mountains or whatever natural topography they have out there in the wild west..LOL).

Cheri's friends, Brandon and Sean, were quite the sensation this year at the ball. Brandon made their outfits which are quite spectacular.
