The Countess duBarry Triumphs Again!

Whenever I am invited by the Countess duBarry to attend a soiree that she is hosting, I do not hesitate to accept the invitation. Recently there was an event held at the legendary Newport mansion, Rosecliff. You might remember this historic home from the movie "The Great Gatsby" starring Mia Farrow and Robert Redford. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in Newport (of which there are many).

The Newport Special Events Professionals were showcasing their talents with a night entitled "The Great Gatsby Revival" and they went all out to impress us with their culinary and decorative talents.

The grand terrace was accented by this beautiful vase.

The Hyatt was serving apple martinis which ran through an ice sculpture to chill them. Of course the real draw were the beautiful boys that served them.

Several flappers arrived from Mrs. Astor's Beechwood mansion and gave out $1,000,000 bills.

The Countess duBarry and The Countess Bedelia...

A beautiful night to remember!

The only thing you two are missing is some charcoal and some red with white polka dot hankerchiefs tied over your heads! Glad to hear you had a fun kaka night!
