Same Dress, Different Day
I love how the tabloids point out when Paris, Britney, Lindsey, etc. wear the same dress. It is such a scandal to be seen in the same outfit that another fashionista has worn to yet another social function.
Now we have our own scandal. This dress was originally worn by the Countess duBarry. It should also be mentioned that duBarry designed and sewed this little piece of fluff....actually she ruined three sewing machines making the outfit....or so she said in a hysterical message on my answering machine! Please note the original jewels that she borrowed from the Countess Bedelia.
Now we have "The Mrs. Astor" trying to pass herself off as the Duchess of Alba in a borrowed dress and bragging about the quantity of jewels that she has adorned herself with. A wise man once told a parable about Quantity vs. Quality....enough said.
I love a good scandal....don't you?
