The Peter Barry Birthday Weekend Lollapalooza
The Birthday weekend started quietly with dinner at Firefly. Laura, the beautiful owner of Firefly, wished Peter a Happy Birthday and made sure we were ushered right in to the dining room. After a delicious meal, Peter was gifted with yummy chocolate cake for dessert. Of course he put "Countess" on the doggie bag, but it is really for him. After all, he IS the Birthday Boy!!
After dinner we walked up the street to Rumpy's Tavern which Prince Troy had decked out with Happy Birthday signs, streamers, and balloons ..... all in Peter's honor.
Troy and Steve wished him a Happy Birthday.....
Scott, The Queen of the Bar, and Dave were on hand for the festivities......
That famous actor, Finn Wittrock, stopped in with his dad after seeing Faith Healer at the Berkshire Theatre Festival. They were as enthralled with that production as The Countess was. Make sure you get over to see it before it closes in July.
On Saturday we took a drive to Charles Baldwin & Sons in West Stockbridge to obtain some of their pure vanilla extract (as seen on Martha Stewart per Peter!! )
Saturday night we made the rounds....starting at Michaels of Stockbridge to visit with Brianne, then over to Flavours to see that great band Crankenstein rock the house, and finishing the night off at Rumpy's Tavern. Unfortunately we were too late at the Tavern to catch the great sounds of Tony Gubelman but we will catch up with him on another night at Rumpy's.
