The evening started off with a dinner for about a dozen of James' friends and family. The Countess officially proclaimed that James would henceforth be known as "Sir James, Rock Baron of the Berkshires"!










After dinner the party moved down the road to one of James' favorite places, Moe's Tavern. James is a beer connoisseur and Moe's caters to just such a discerning taste. A sign on the wall proclaims "No Coors Light"!





Many of James friends stopped in to wish him a Happy Birthday. Here he is with his future in-laws, Michelle and John, and Tara, his beautiful fiance. and who is that taking center stage in the picture? None other than Thom Rivera who you can see in "Streetcar named Desire" playing in at the Barrington Stage Co in our neighboring town of Pittsfield.

Many, many more friends came in after their theater performances and Moe's was packed with well-wishers. The Countess had a wonderful evening with good friends on a very happy occasion!!
