Have you done your taxes yet?

When The Countess is not being a Countess, she is an accountant...or maybe an 'a'ccountess!

The IRS keeps accountants in business and, in spite or many years protesting against the government, I never protest against taxes.  It is guaranteed employment, people!  No matter what you do, what you make, what your service is.....you have to report it to the Federal government and most states.  Oh yes, it is money in the bank for all of us who make a living helping you report it.  Not only do we prepare your tax forms but we advise you during the year about what decisions you should make to save you money when you report your earnings.

For instance, a simple little transaction involving a donation to the Arts, can save you money on your taxes.  Did you know that, depending on your income, a donation to the theater company of your choice can reduce your tax liablity up to 35% for the equivalent amount of income, depending on your tax bracket.

So please click on to the Berkshire Theatre Festival and give a donation to not only help them to continue to give you quality entertainment, but to help you reduce your tax liability for the year ending 2010.

Take it from a tax professional....and a lady who loves to find a loophole in the law so that we all can have a good time!!!!  Give to the theater company of your choice.
