The Cafés of Paris

The cafés of Paris are legendary.  Every tourist knows that just sitting in a café drinking coffee or sipping wine is an integral part of the Parisian experience.

I found a website that describes the Top Traditional Paris Cafes starting with the Café De La Paix which is located in Le Grand Hotel at 12 Boulevard des Capucines in the 9^th arrondissement.

 

“Declared a historic site by the French government in 1975, this iconic café is the setting for many a painting and poem. The ornate frescoed interior and proximity to the Paris Opera make this classic look more like a museum than simple watering hole.
