Last Night at the Summer Palace.....

It's been a wonderful summer out here in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. I've had so many fun times and met up with so many fun people. The bars have run out of Glenlivet on a regular basis and all the house managers now know that they need to get in a big supply for next summer.
First stop was at Rumpy's Tavern to bid farewell to Troy and to show him the picture of his gift to me in a place of honor at the Summer Palace. A red lamp....just what this Countess needs..haha! But isn't it beautiful?

Troy and The Countess behind the bar at Rumpy's....

Then off to Michael's of Stockbridge for one last night of karaoke and to say farewell to Susan, Melissa, and Greg behind the bar. Susan surprised me with a gift bag containing a beautiful travel jewelry box.....she noticed how much bling I always wear!! Here is Susan and Melissa with me.

Greg was all excited because he is rejoining his rock band and they will be performing in October. He promised to let me know where and when, so you can be sure that I will share the news with you and put pictures on the blog.

Greg, the rock star drummer!

Some of the gang from BTF stopped in. Liz is the Associate Producer at the theater.

Steve Horton BTF stage manager), the very bad Travis Daly (BTF asst. director), and Jesse (a bartender at Spice in Pittsfield) are posing with The Countess.

And just because I promised to put their picture on the blog, here is California Surfer Girl and The Nerd....

One last hug from Andy or A-Rod as they call him at Michael's. He is one of the best karaoke singers at the bar.

A fitting farewell to the Berkshires and the end of my summer vacation.

How lovely; I hear you purchased a chateau in the mountains for next season. I can just picture you bathing in the blood of virgins from The Berkshires.
Mrs. Astor, the Summer Palace is moving a half mile down the road next summer. You will have to bring the Southern Court for a visit and see Rumpy's Tavern for yourself! I know the perfect Inn for you and your entourage.
I'm coming up there. There are too many available men to be entrusted to you :-)
