NOT one of my favorite things!!
The snow is falling and has been since around noon today. I'm not sure how much we are supposed to get but it looks like about a foot has come down so far.
Black & Tan Mark is arriving from Florida on Saturday so I decided to take a couple of pictures to show him what he is in for. Better bring your long underwear, Mark!
This tree is beside the front door.
The red maple as seen from the sunroom. You can see the footprints left by some little critter.
The view from the patio outside the guest suite where Mark will be staying.
We probably won't be cooking on the barbie or using the pool.
Snow is definitely NOT my favorite thing at all!
ETA: NOT my favorite "morning after". The Countess likes to wake up to sunny skies and green grass. This is the front yard this morning.

Glad that Mark likes the snow!

Countess, you just made my night - I do like a good winter storm! I'm tempted to pack my cross- country skis but they wouldn't fit in Baby Beamer. And if the snow gets you down, admiring it from the inside with a hot toddy or four will make it bearable :o)

Oh, how fun life in The Tundra seems to be. I'm surprised you didn't get a photograph of the Yeti. Make a snow angel for me, and I will make a margarita on the beach for you.
Mrs. Astor, I will take a margarita on the beach over a hot toddy any day!! But Mark seems happy about the whole thing, so all is good.
