Court Intrigue never rests....
While The Countess has been away, staying at the Summer Palace, and bringing joy to the countryside, she has been the subject of a vicious slanderous campaign by "that woman in Miami", the Mrs. Astor.
Mrs. Astor is not the only one to blame though. Her sister, the Countess duBarry, has apparently risen from the dead, and is feeding her gossip and innuendo.
The following pictures will show the Southern Court just what happens to traitors in the Northern Court..
Beware, Mrs. Astor.
ETA: No children, animals, or other endangered species were harmed in the making of this historical reenactment...no matter what duBarry claims.
