So a funny thing happened on the way to the forum...

Just a quick note to say...Last night was a blast!
Michael Allen Lowe and The Countess
Michael's opening was a success. There were lots of family and Berkshire people there to support him...and even buyers!!

Cousin Ryan with The Countess

The artiste, his brother Bryan and Bryan's fiance

Supermodel Larissa came down from the Berkshires for the event.
The Countess was fascinated by one of the most interesting women that I have ever met, Matuschka. Matuschka is an artist of many mediums. You can read about her career on her website. But her greatest contribution was a photograph taken after her breast cancer surgery and published on the cover of the New York Times Magazine. "Beauty out of Damage" was included in Life Magazine's Tribute "100 pictures that changed the world" and was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. It is a magnificent photograph and a testament to the beauty that is Matuschka herself.

The Countess, Matuschka, and Parrish

And I just had to take a photo of Matuschka's shoes and bag. She was easily the most striking woman in the gallery.

Hope and Parrish
The Countess went downtown to The Delancey with Hope and Parrish after the show to see a fantastic band, La Res. Unfortunately my flash was turned off and all my pictures there came out too dark to print. Laurel, you rock! I will process the video and upload it for you when I get home.
I ended up in Gangsta Boy's kitchen at 3 am where he cooked me tea, toast, and a yummy omelet. Now it is 9 am and I am in Penn Station waiting for the train.
