A Little of This and That....

The Berkshires offer so many cultural opportunities. That is the reason that attracted me to this area many years ago and why I keep coming back. I used to have to make do with a long weekend now and then because of work and family obligations but as I eased into semi-retirement a few years ago, I've been able to stay for longer and longer periods of time. This has allowed me to finally have the time to explore and experience more of what the region has to offer. At the same time, even more importantly, it has allowed me to make many friends here.

And just when I think that I know every theater in the region, I learn about another one. There is a little gem, Chester Theatre Company, located in a very small town called Chester. The town is so small that the theater web page gives you this advice on their directions page: "Please remember that Chester is in a relatively remote area – so fill up for gas in Westfield or Lee, respectively."

It looks like they have a good season lined up. I recently met Jim Baudin who is one of the actors in their production of "Almost Maine"....

Jim, I'll be seeing your production some time during its run. And all of you should look up this theater and take the scenic drive to see one of their plays!

When I stopped in at Firefly last night, Justina was behind the bar. She likes the pictures I take, so......Justina, here is another one just for you.

And because I promised.....

Here are two new Supermodels, Courtney and Belle.....

Tonight is opening night for "The Book Club" at Berkshire Theatre Festival. See you there!
