MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!! I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge!

This journey began, not with my golden carriage, but at the Bryant Park Subway stop.

Two trains later I had crossed under the East River to Brooklyn. I wanted to walk from the Brooklyn side into Manhattan.

Here is the first pair of arches on the bridge...

It was a mild but windy day and the views were fantastic. This is the view of the downtown Financial District with the Statue of Liberty on the left.

On the other side you can see midtown with the Empire State Building.

I snapped a shot of Pace University as I was walking down the Manhattan side. My friend, Samantha, went there a couple of years ago (waves to Sam!).

The walkway ends at City Hall Park.

The walk took about a half hour to complete including stops to video at certain points. When I get home I'll edit the video and put it on the blog. After all this exercise, The Countess deserved a nice glass of Glenlivet!

Today Matuschka and I are going to get up to some mischief together......Watch out Manhattan!
