"The Tempest" starring a boatswain, a sprite, and a God...

Oh yes....also starring Mandy Patinkin as Prospero and many other fine actors.... But The Countess was very partial to Bhavesh Patel showcasing his many talents in several roles...And he got to sing!! I love to hear Bhavesh sing!

The Tempest starts with a bang, literally. Lightening and thunder crash from the sky as the tempest swells and tosses the seas. I jumped in my seat when it started! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole production and laughed and laughed at some of the really funny scenes, especially between Triculo, Stephano, and Caliban. All the reviews have been great including this one from Variety and the play has been extended to October 19th so you still have time to get your tickets.

Daiva and Matt and I planned this night way back in the early summer when they were performing in Matt's play, "Pageant Play", at the Unicorn Theater at Berkshire Theatre Festival. I was so happy that we were all able to make it and to see Bhavesh. After the show we walked around the corner to The Smith and had a bite to eat and a couple of drinks....Glenlivet for Bhavesh and myself, of course.

Matt, The Countess, Daiva, and Bhavesh

We shared a lot of stories and many laughs. Thank you, dear friends, for another wonderful evening.

Today The Countess is on a "Mission". If all is successful, I will give a full report. Wish me luck!
