Guest Post from the legendary Ditmar
Ditmar was one of the first people I met when I arrived on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach a few years ago. As the #1 bartender at The Palace, he was always a showman but most of all, he is a great friend. One of my fondest memories is when he visited The Countess at the Castle Bedelia and arrived in a Golden Coach......

Here is Ditmar in a recent picture from a photo shoot (just to compare with him in the white dress in the following pictures!) ....

This morning a carrier pigeon arrived with the following account of his adventures at a fundraiser in Fort Lauderdale last night. The Countess laughed so hard, I spilled my scotch!
Big surprise.....I was chosen to represent the Sea Monster Nightclub.
Now, on stage in front of a minimum of at least 300 to 400, $35 per ticket, paying people clowning around was exactly what I was pushed into!
Well, when my co-worker/bartender Mark and I went to the dressingroom, there were no....NO...amateurs, fullfleshed Drag Queens with perfect make-up and costumes, like a f**king gala event like the Oscars.
After a couple of glasses of champagne, we said: FUCK IT, LETS DO IT!

Everything we practiced we forgot but we were FUNNY, just imagine ME entertaining tipsy in Drag on stage!!

Once upon a time........
well, there was a benefit held in a gayfriendly church (Sunshine Cathedral) for a good cause, (of course) and all the gay and gayfriendly establishments from greater Ft. Lauderdale were ask to participate with one number from bartenders, waiters, managers, kitchenstaff, etc. to do a DragNumber.
